Our Acanthus Pickle Fork Earrings began as the ornate handle of an antique pickle fork—a rather specific little artifact from the elaborate world of Victorian dining. Its unfurling leaves conjure images of acanthus foliage, a celebrated motif in ancient Greek and Roman art, embraced for its lush, sculptural form.
Every beautifully timeworn detail of this elegant but mundane object has been preserved through lost-wax casting, transforming an artifact of daily life into a bold botanical pendant. An ancient leaf, a Victorian utensil and centuries of hidden history—gathered into one wearable keepsake.
This pair is adorned with ruby zoisite gemstones and pyrite crystal beads.
