Our Golden Gate Bridge necklace is handcrafted from a vintage teaspoon! This piece celebrates California history and the elegant beauty of the Golden Gate Bridge.
GOLDEN GATE BRIDGE: Why is the Golden Gate Bridge red? The name refers to the strait connecting the San Francisco Bay to the Pacific Ocean. Finished in 1937 with paint inspired by red lead primer, the bridge is held together by 1.2 million steel rivets and built by the ironworkers’ union local 377.
