This limited edition antique button necklace is made with a late 19th century Victorian Zodiac button modeled on an Egyptian coin minted in 144AD in Alexandrian Egypt to celebrate the Sothic cycle of the star Sirius. This design features Jupiter in Sagittarus. Symbols of Greek mythology and other symbols of Antiquity inspired Victorian jewelry designs after the 1750s.
