TAURUS - Vintage Astrology Necklace

This antique button necklace is made with a late 19th century Victorian Zodiac button modeled on an Egyptian coin minted in 144AD in Alexandrian Egypt to celebrate the Sothic cycle of the star Sirius. This coin shows Venus in Taurus. Symbols of Greek mythology and other symbols of Antiquity inspired Victorian jewelry designs after the 1750s.
